Amsterdam Marimba Weekend (AMW) is a biennial festival celebrating the marimba, vibraphone and related percussion instruments with concerts, workshops and premieres, featuring world class performers and composers.
‘AMW Bringing together People and Cultures’, stands for new encounters, diverse genres, and community engagement.
Initiated by percussionist Tatiana Koleva, it’s a platform for showcasing both established artists and emerging young talents from around the world, developing the instrument’s music and sound boundaries.
